Finally, the last episode. The entire series is winding down. Some questions remain unanswered... What will become of Naota? What about Mamimi? Will Haruko find Atomsk through Naota? What in the hell does Fooly Cooly mean anyway?!

Starts off with all of Naota's schoolfriends in class. The teacher is giving a lesson on chopsticks and how it's benefitual to use it. However, she sucks terribly at using it. Whenever she fails, she yells out "Hiy!" and the entire class clap their chopsticks in the air. Pretty funny. The classmates talk about sporks, Naota appears super bummed out (probably because Mamimi doesn't like him, and Haruko's after Kanti).

Naota leaves class. He says that ever since the incident in episode five, the entire town has been covered in a white mist which spews out constantly from the Medical Mechanica factory. It's as if nothing exists outside of the town. The town is pretty much isolated. He then talks about Haruko and Kanti, how they're wanted fugitives now and they both left Mabase. Perhaps Amarao sent out the notice of their arrest...

Back up in the space immigration agency, Amarao is working out and Kitsurubami is detailing some information. The latest M.M. robot (from episode five) resembles a hand. That hand wants to grab the M.M. factory but apparently can't because it's missing the terminal core. If you haven't noticed, the Medical Mechanica factory has always resemble a clothing iron. Apparently, there are other M.M. factories on other planets and its mission is to "iron out the wrinkles"... Something like that. Also, Amarao came to the conclusion that Haruko is an idiot. Bear with me. So they decided that they better capture the terminal core that was smashed out by Kanti in episode five.

Naota and his classmates are walking back home when they spot Mamimi by the bridge. They call over to Naota and talk to him about it, but he's already walking on in the distance. Naota is not feeling connected to society or his friends anymore. He's really out of it.

Anyway, Mamimi is outside near the bridge where it's raining. A motorist passes her and splashes water all over her, she gets pissed of course and jots down his plates. Mamimi is looking for Takkun (the black kitty) but can't find it. Instead she found the terminal core! The t.c. looks like a dog robot thing comes out from the river. Mamimi, being the girl she is, is of course intrigued by this weird specimen. She approaches it and ends up feeding it a cellphone. Like Mario after eating a mushroom, the robot beefs up a bit. She now calls it Takkun too.

Naota is walking alone after departing his friends and is confronted by Amarao. Amarao tells him that each time something comes out of his head, problems arises. He slaps on a pair of fake eyebrows for Naota just in case Haruko comes back. He says that "cats should stick with other cats," perhaps suggesting Naota to hang out with his classmates friends instead of submitting to Haruko and her deeds. He continues talking to Naota about Atomsk and Haruko (read indepth character analysis for more info). He tells Naota not to trust her...

Naota is back home and sitting on his bed. He's holding the guitar that Haruko pulled out of his head in Episode 4 with the satelite. Kamon calls Naota down for dinner...

Haruko is back! Apparently she went to Hawaii. Naota is very scared/pissed/loud and questions why a wanted fugitive would take a vacation. Grandpa and Kamon both seem pretty content that Haruko came back, Naota still has suspicions I think. They don't talk about much except about some 'fooly coolying' and Haruko's crotch attack (ladies, this is not cool when you ravagingly kick our nuts; mercy please). Kamon gets excessively horny, Grandpa wishes for some action, and Haruko prances around.

Right here seems like a small anime outtake, but Kamon and Grandpa start asking what FLCL really mean. Naota doesn't even know and wants everyone to cut it out. Then Haruko comes about and tries to smack Naota again with her guitar. First time missed, second time right on the mark. Utter chaos is upon the household. :P

Now it shows Naota naked taking a bath. He has another horn soon developing. After the bath, he questions Haruko a series of questions while they are sleeping in their bunks. Naota asked why she came back. She said only to see him because his head is the only one that works. I think Haruko came back because she knows that she needs both Kanti and Naota for Atomsk to appear again. Naota asks if she's gonna leave again? Haruko suggests that they run away together and Naota starts sobbing about why she left. What a pansy!

Meanwhile, Mamimi has been graciously feeding Takkun (the dog robot thing) cellphones that were taken from her highschool. She is slowly feeding Takkun until he's big enough to eat vehicles from people that have wronged her... (Revenge is so very sweet.)

Naota and Haruko both run away together on her Vespa towards the mountains. Naota's classmates talk about Naota's disappearance and how he hasn't been to school for several days. Ninamori suggests that Naota just needs to talk about his feelings and that it'll make him feel a lot better.

Amarao and Kitsurubami found some wreckage of the hand but can't locate the terminal core. This is the first time I caught on to this, but Amarao recalls of all the past "documents." He says that Earth is almost going to become as mangled as the previous planets that he had to deal with involving Medical Mechanica. He suggests that they must handle this situation with Medical Mechanica very carefully.

Naota and Haruko are snacking on some Ramen outside a convience store. Haruko bought the biggest offbrand Ramen and Naota bought the standard good brand. Haruko trades with Naota (look at how big the big bowl is; it contains at least 4 gallons of broth). Anyway, Haruko admits that MM factory took something from her and she wants it back really bad when questioned by Naota. Mamimi keeps Takkun on a leash and starts to feed him much bigger stuff. She goes through town looking for all the bikes and vehicles that have wronged her and lets Takkun eat 'em. They do this all night.

Daylight is coming and Ninamori spots Naota and Haruko sleeping on a bench together. She ignores this. Mamimi is spotted behind some alley ways making a few last minute eatings for Takkun before someone spots them. Unfortunatley for Naota's friends who makes the deliveries with the truck, their truck gets eaten by Takkun - not the little dog robot thing - but the beast from hell. Imagine this, a small brownie with dimensions of 3x2x2 inches turned into this huge Domo-kun [they're these turd meatloaf looking creatures with button eyes, a mouth full of teeth, and four lanky limbs] creature that's about the size of building.

Mamimi pretty much has no control over the terminal core Takkun anymore while it completes its rampage upon the city to get beefier. Kanti is disguised as an old crosswalk lady in a skirt when he fuses with the terminal core against his will. Kitsurubami and Amarao tries to stop it but can't. The terminal core flies over to the hand behind the Medical Mechanica plant. Amarao gets caught onto and lands there too. Haruko and Naota wakes up and flies over to the hand on their Vespa.

Amarao starts scolding at Naota about his eyebrows and Haruko. He talks about his poor choices and how he has to start thinking like an adult. Naota ignores all of this and walks towards Haruko. Haruko tells Naota that she needs his help and smashes him towards the Terminal Core which promptly eats him. The Terminal Core turns into this goop that fills in the small hold in the hand that Kanti knocked out from the huge robot in episode five. The hand begins to activate and attempts to grab the Medical Mechanica plant - probably an effort to guide and wrinkle out the planet surface. Haruko is pretty excited that she might be able to get Atomsk now.

But red Kanti somehow merged away from the hand and is preventing it from fully grabbing the M.M. plant. Naota pulls himself out from Kanti's screen (notice how Naota is flamingly red; Kanti is turning back to blue). Naota now has complete powers over Atomsk inside of him. Haruko is super pissed because she wanted to eat it so Haruko and Naota duke it out for a bit. Haruko looks super cool right now. Her teeth are all sharpened, she looks like a kickass vampire. She can't seem to get the upper hand on Naota. Amarao thinks this is the chance to take out Haruko, but Naota does something a bit different...

He blocks Haruko's last shot which sends her plummeting down towards the ground (or on top of the MM factory). Naota merges the two guitars he has and zooms in towards Haruko. He stops within a couple of feet of her and instead of smashing her, he says "I love you" and plants a big one on her (he has skills, I admit). Then he relinquishes all of Atomsk's powers from his body and the real Atomsk pops out of his forehead as a phoenix. The entire town pretty much levitates and is absorbed into Atomsk. After that, Atomsk zooms off into outerspace warp fast.

Haruko's metal bracelet stops jiggling as the power of Atomsk slowly diminishes away. She looks up into the sky (very badass style) and told Naota that she lost Atomsk again. She offers to take Naota along, but then tells him that he is still a kid and for him to save it for next time. Haruko takes Naota's merged double neck guitar with her and Naota finds Haruko's old guitar in the wreckage for which he keeps. Mamimi is also in the rumble and snaps a shot of Naota holding the guitar...

Naota tells us that Mamimi finally went off and pursued photography which in my opinion would make her very, very, very happy in life. Life seems to be good now...
