First off, I just made the stunning conclusion that Kanti is very much like the DragonballZ character Goku. You know, Goku, the Super Saiyan that fights for justice and is very kind and sincere. The dude that I idolize in my room with posters. But why does he remind me of Goku? Let's break it down.

The Helper and the Enforcer
Kanti is the blue robot that is first to sprout out of Naota's head. Although originally red, he turns blue when Haruko smashes the back of his TV head to pieces. When in blue form, Kanti is very obedient: does all the chores, laundry, cleaning, and even serves as a crossguard in a dress in the last episode. He also never hits any of the other robots that sprout out of Naota's head even though they might hit him. He often tends to try to run away except only in one episode do I remember he hit a robot while in blue form which was episode three involving the weird robot that actually sprouted out of Ninamori's head. In his free time, he often goes out looking for missing parts of his TV head that Haruko destroyed. :(

When Kanti turns red by eating up Naota, it's justice time baby. He's unstoppable and will kick your butt. He has the ability to transform into a gun canon that shoots a single red bomb which is actually Naota. Pretty wicked sweet!

Medical Mechinca Robots?
I'm not exactly positive why all the other robots always attack Kanti, but I believe it's because he's a Medical Mechinca robot as well, and they don't want any unauthorized robots walking around. So each time Haruko smacks Naota's head with her guitar, she wishes for Atomsk to sprout out, but Medical Mechanica insteads diverts this portal and sends more robots, each time more fearsome in size and power, to kill Kanti.

Mamimi's Diety
Mamimi really believes that Kanti is "Lord Kanti," a god in a video game she plays called "Firestarter." That's actually one of my most favorite parts of the entire series is when she stalks Kanti in episode two. So Mamimi is playing around with Takkun the cat and notices this thing with wings and a halo. She becomes intrigued and follows him all the way down to the old school that burned years before. Kanti doesn't notice her and climbs to the roof of the skeleton frame of the school. He unleashes this huge gust of wind which scatters the crows everywhere, and then he jumps off and twirls around freely, carelessly, and unregretably towards the sun. The music really helps set the mood in that episode, it's fantastic.

Dragonball Z
Nearly forgot, but why does Kanti resemble Goku? Goku is a passionate man (Kanti's blue form) who works to preserve peace and justice through the world. He tries to talk and negotiate rather than fight. However, when necessary Goku will transfrom into a Super Saiyan (Kanti's red form), which gives him godlike amounts of energy and powers. That's when he can really start kicking butt just like Kanti! ^_^
